Electronics Mechanic - DST

Electronic Mechanic- DST trade under CTS is one of the most popular courses delivered nationwide through a network of ITIs.The course is of two years duration. During one-year duration, a candidate will be trained in first seven months in the institute for all training (Theory/Practical) then next five months he will go to reputed industry for hands-on practice to acquire production related skills and industry level knowledge and in last two months he will again come back to institute for revision of theory and practical’s. The system is same for next year. It mainly consists of Domain area and Core area.

In the Domain area Trade Theory & Practical impart professional skills and knowledge, while Core area Workshop Calculation and science, Engineering Drawing and Employability Skills imparts requisite core skill & knowledge and life skills.

After passing out the training programme, the trainee is being awarded the National Trade Certificate (NTC) by NCVT having worldwide recognition.

Identification and checking of various electronics components; Handle different types of electronics measuring instruments; Identify and repair different types of faults in electronic equipment; Assembling, repair and maintenance of computer hardware and networking, UPS, Inverter, SMPS, Solar power system, LED lights and its driver circuit, OP Amp timer circuit and various analog and digital circuit; Repair and maintenance of electronics communication equipments, fibre optics, microcontroller based systems, installation of various transducer and sensor; Repair maintenance and installation of LED/ LCD TV, cell phone home theatre.
